صحيح مسلم – كتاب البر والصلة والآداب – باب فضل الرفق حديث ٢٥٩٢

‘A’isha radiyallahu anha – the wife of Allah’s Rasul (ﷺ) – reported that Allah’s rasul (ﷺ) said:

Kindness is not to be found in anything but that it adds to its beauty and it is not withdrawn from anything but it makes it defective.

sahih Muslim, Hadith 2592

This hadith plays very important role in modifying our akhlaq and character in general with every aspect in our day to day life, when we are making a deal, negotiating, convincing and reconciling etc.

It is also guidance for us when we are fixing something and it requires gentleness.
