New Student Registration

Jamiah Islamiah welcomes you for your blessed intention to enroll your child here. May Allah grant us all success. Here are some rules to follow in order to ensure possibly the highest progress for your child. 

For Parents 

1. I’ve read and understood the curriculum for my kid’s class,and I agree to it.

2. After admission, the child will remain on probation period for 90 days.  During this period, the teacher will assess his class participation, general conduct, behavior, and basic educational and learning etiquette.  

3. I shall be responsible for the behavior of my child while on the premises of the Jamiah and I understand that if my child shows any disrespect to the teacher, damages the JAMIAH’s property, or does not cooperate with the teacher, the Administration has the right to suspend/dismiss my child.

4. I shall not hold Jamiah Islamiah, its faculty, and its administration against any liabilities/claims from accidents on Jamiah premises.

5. I give permission to the faculty and administration to act to their best judgment in case of medical emergency. I shall be notified as soon as possible in case illness, accident, and or any emergencies, and that I shall be responsible for the cost of any treatment if deemed necessary.

6. Academic/Home-Schooling of my child is totally my responsibility and Jamiah will not be held responsible for this cause. 

7. I will make sure that my child attends the classes regularly and on time.

8. I must re-register my child if he/she remains absent from class for three weeks. (Re-register by paying three months fee in advance)

9. I am responsible to drop my child exactly on class-start time and pick up on class-end time.

10. Teachers will not be held responsible for the time before class and for the time after class. 

11. My child may remain unattended/unsupervised for the time before class and for the time after class.

12. I am fully responsible to drop off my child in the classroom and pick up from the classroom.

13. I will inform the office before class begins if my child will not be attending the class for any reason and I will also submit the leave paper.

14. If I want to cancel my child’s registration, I will inform the office one full month in advance.  

15. Please allow students spend quality time in the class with teachers and do not pick them up before the end of class. 

16. ⁠If you are picking up before class dismissal for any reason, please inform at the beginning of class. And when you come to pick up allow teachers to have some minutes and wait to complete the lesson. 

17. Do not come to pick up while salah is going on. Check the salah timing for early pick up. 

18. When you come to pick up the kids ask the responsible teacher to discharge, do not call the students directly. 

19. Please do not block the driveway while waiting. Park somewhere and come to the door or wait at parked position.

Fee

1. I shall pay the entire applicable fee by ACH deposit by the 5th of every month. 

2. I agree that all payments are non-refundable.

3. I agree to pay the full fee if my child takes some days off during the month.

4. If my child is taking off for a month or more, and I want to hold the registration I will continue paying the full fee. If I don’t want to hold the registration, my child will go through the registration and fee adjustment process again when he/she returns from absence.

5. Full-time students will pay a two-month fee in advance, which will be used for their last two months whenever they complete the program or leave for any reason. 

6. I will also submit the cancellation form and confirm that the last/current month’s fee is fully paid.

For Students 

1. I will not leave the class and exit out the classroom without the permission of my responsible teacher. 

2. Students must highly respect all teachers of Jamiah and must abstain from arguing and talking back to teachers. 

3. Students must stay friendly with fellow students and must refrain from any discrimination, bullying, getting into fights with anyone, using slang etc.    

4. Students are not allowed to do any physical touching of any meaning to each other. If any student feels that he is a victim of any bullying, he must report it to the responsible teacher right away. 

5. Students are generally not allowed to carry cell phones, for all communicating needs, they can use teachers’ phone and Jamiah’s phone.

6. In exceptional case, student needs to be permitted to carry phone and he/she won’t be allowed to use it during class time without the permission /supervision of the teacher.

7. Student will never be allowed to share his/her device with anyone at Jamiah. 

8. Students must use and carry the same Quran for the whole program till the final graduation. This is to keep track of the lessons and to maintain the corrections of the marked mistakes. Student will not be allowed in the class if he doesn’t bring his own Quran. 

Dress Code and Appearance

9. I understand that I should be in proper Islamic Dress i.e., not too thin, not too coarse. not short or tight, and not dirty and odd.

10. I understand that boys will wear jubba, kurta and shelwarand girls will wear long loose shelwar and kamees covered by black or navy-blue burqa.

11. I understand that no student is allowed in class in t-shirt, pants, tight shelwar, leggings and shorts.

12. I understand that girls must cover their heads/hairs and boys must wear cap/topi.

13. I will follow Jamia’s instructions for haircuts and nail treaming.
